CSP Plus Item's Support Section

  

The Maintenance Tracking feature is a critical component of the CSP Plus Software Application.  The Maintenance feature is designed to send notification for anything that could potentially expire. This could apply to Repair work, to testing Ruber Gloves to handle Electrical Lines.

To implement these new features, log into CSP+ as an Admin, and go to the Item- Compliance Section: 

  • Add a New Compliance Type for Item 
  • Fill out the Normal info for a Compliance 
  • Is Odometer/Hobbs Compliance:
    Choose: YES     
  • The screen will Change:
    • Kilometers/Hours Prior to Expiry for Notification: Enter a Value to be notified before it expires. e.g. 200KM 
    • Compliance Recurrence: If CSP+ is to manage recurring Compliance’s, click Kilometers/Hours.
      Enter a Value when the next compliance recurs - e.g. Oil Change Every 5000km       
    • Click UPDATE to save 

Click on the ItemTab in the Main CSP+ Page 

  • Next, Go to Item Tab -
    Select a Item then Click the Odometer Tab
    First, Enter the Current Odometer Reading (Enter a Hobbs or Hours Reading besides the KM/Miles)     
  • Click on Add Reading
    Fill out the Date and Reading
    Click EDIT to Save     
  • Next, Go to Maintenance Tab 
  • Click, Add Maintenance Item 
  • Now visible will be the Compliance made in the Admin Section 
  • To bring the Current Odometer Reading Click on (You can Enter it manually as well) 
  • For the First Maintenance Compliance (i.e. oil change) that RECURS you MUST ENTER when it is meant to expire in order for CSP+ to Manger it
    e.g. Oil Change for a item is Every 5000KM, 12000KM is the actual odometer reading so, the system will notify in advance of 17000KMS depending on how the system is structured by the ADMIN.      
  • Click Update to SAVE 
  • The new Compliance will be visible on the Maintenance Tab Visible will be a Yellow Flag flag yellow 16 when it just about to Expire and a Red Flag flag red 16 when its Expired 
    • Obtained - Is when it was entered in 
    • Expiry - When its due 
    • Serial Number – There will be a value here, this is your current Odometer Reading (please ignore that is under the Serial Number Colum it has no bearing on your Odometer) 
  • Renew The Maintenance Item when Maintenance is Performed The Old Maintenance Item is now under the Show Revoked Compliances Button 
    • Click the Renew Button 
    • Visible will be the Last Entered in Odometer Reading (Please update it before proceeding) and the NEW Value Expired Reading - This is based off of the Recurs Compliance setup in the ADMIN Section
      e.g. If entered 5000KM to recur and the Current Odometer is 3950KM your Value Expired will be 8950KM        
    • Click Update 

To Delete the Maintenance Compliance

Click the Revoke Button

  • Click the Renew Button 
  • Fill out Reason for Revoking (This will be stored in the CSP+ History for Auditing by an ADMIN) 
  • Click Revoke Compliance

Note:First, working from the Admin Tools set up the Maintenance Compliance Types - Click Here
The Item Maintenance does not work with the Odometer like the Vehicles section it just splits up your compliances from your maintenace items for easier tracking
